| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 jeep commander 4x4. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start and the transmission warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer where the ignition switch system was replaced. The failure recurred and persisted for approximately one year. The vehicle was taken to the dealer at least four times for the failure where the starter was replaced twice. The failure persisted and the dealer was no longer able to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 28,000 and the current mileage was 47,400. |
