| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 jeep commander 4x4. The contact stated that the vehicle would stall without warning and lose total power while in transit. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but they could not duplicate the failure. The dealer stated that they could not repair what they could not see. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, but they still could not duplicate the failure. The third time the failure occurred, the dealer replaced the transmission software as well as the transmission module. The dealer stated that the failure would not recur; however, it continued. The contact stated that the failure was worse after the third repair because the vehicle began to jerk violently. The failure still persists. The current and failure mileages were less than 52,000. |
