| Description of the problem | Engine failure/stall/loss of power on 2007 jeep commander. Has happened about 6 times now. Sometimes at low speeds... Sometimes on the freeway. Started happening around 15,000 miles. Dealer tried to replicate it. They said they could not. So they have done nothing to fix it. I have told them about it 3 times. Now it has happened again at 39,000 miles and on the freeway. I lost control and it became an extremely dangerous situation as i tried to coast over to the emergency shoulder. Temporary brake power lost and no response to the attempts to start it in neutral. Please help! Started in 2007 and continues to happen in 2009. I have not been notified of any recalls or tsbs. I own the vehicle. |
