Description of the problem	We were on interstate 57 going 65 mph when all of a sudden the jeep jerked like it was down shifting and just shut off. We had a semi behind us which almost hit us but we were able to coast onto the side of the side of the road. We then turned the key off and then restarted the car and it started okay but the engine light was on. The engine light finally went off by itself. Since then when driving the jeep jerks and acts like it down shifting and the rpms goes way up. We are afraid to drive it on a highway because shutting off like that on the interstate could cause a serious accident. I am reading several complaints from others who own 2007 jeep commanders so there has to be something faulty! This could cause a serious accident!!! We just purchased this from a dealer a month ago for our 16 year old twins. Thank god they were not driving it when that happened.
