Description of the problem	While traveling at 40mph my 2007 jeep commander lost power accelerator would no respond the service park assist message came on as did the check engine light and all the gear indicators in the dash lit up. I stopped on the side of the road and after i turned the vehicle off and restarted it was fine for a few more miles and it did it again and again. Took the vehicle to my jeep dealer and they checked it out and found it was the transmission control module and i just had to pay $1,329. 59 to have it repaired. This is a safety issue and i was lucky i was driving on side streets as in traffic or on the highway it could have caused a serious accident. The same issue happened on the 2006 commander and jeep recalled them and there are the same number of complaints about the 2007 why is it that nothing is being done to have them correct this.
