| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 jeep commander. The contact stated while waiting at a traffic light the vehicle stalled. The contact mentioned that the failure occurred several times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the spark plugs were defective and needed to be replaced. The remedy failed to correct the failure. The second time the failure occurred the vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the throttle position sensor was defective and needed to be replaced which also did not correct the failure. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer a third time, but they were not able to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 58,000 and the current mileage was 61, 000. |
