Description of the problem	Driving a 2007 jeep commander limited 4x4, with 5. 7 litre hemi engine at 30 miles per hour along side road, engine cut out unexpectedly no warning. This has happened on 6 different occasions within the past 6 months with no consistency relative to speed, road conditions, etc. On the previous 5 occasions the vehicle cut out for a few seconds, then restarted itself. On the last occasion, the engine cut out completely and needed to be guided off the road. Whenever this occurs the driver loses all control of the vehicle creating an uncontrollable and dangerous situation for the driver and other motorists. The vehicle has been brought to paul bailey jeep chrylsler dodge on 2 occasions for an assessment and review of the code system. Neither visit gave any indication as to what was causing the problem. A report has been lodged with chrysler and we are awaiting information from their case manager. We believe this to be a fatal accident waiting to happen and need some direction as to the recourse or action we might take.
