| Description of the problem | While driving approximately 30 mph, dashboard lights began to flicker off and on and steering vehicle into a left turn was hard to do. Took vehicle to jeep service department and was advised that problem is a electric stability control issue, the module is defective and manufacturer has not identified a fix. Was told i could purchase a new module, approx. $400. 00 for install, but there is no guarantee that problem will go away. Lightening continues to flicker approximately 3 - 4 times per month. Able to drive vehicle, but confidence in jeep autos is shaken. Manufacturer should be held accountable. |
