| Description of the problem | The cups inside the handles of both of the back doors of my 2006 jeep commander are broken to pieces. Although this may sound like a cosmetic issue, yesterday, my 13 year old daughter threw up all over the inside of the truck because when we pulled over for her to throw up, she was completely unable to open the door!!! I cannot say how angry i am at this scenario. I am upset because i have to clean the car, but am furious because, had this been an evacuation situation, she could have died! I contacted my jeep dealership and was told that it will be over a thousand dollars to replace the entire door panels in the back. I'm sorry, but this should be a safety recall!!! |
