| Description of the problem | Takara recall my 2019 jeep cherokee, less the 6k miles, caught on fire while driving down the road. I pulled over to find flames igniting by where my engine meets the transmission. I quickly put it out with water. Contacted the insurance company for a claim an tow. The called cryster to file a report with them as well. It's now a week later, i've missed work an have no rental from cryster ab any information other then it's being investigated when i was assured it would take 2-4 days after i made the claim.*dt consumer stated hood erupted in flames.
