| Description of the problem | Vehicle hesitates when accelerating, causing a lag in motion. Have had issues where lack of acceleration has placed my wife and i into a dangerous situation of being in an accident, like when trying to merge in traffic. This has been happening since my wife bought the vehicle in november, 2018. Took in to the jeep dealer in colorado springs and was told that nothing could be done until jeep decides to issue a software update. Have seen similar complaints (hundreds of them) posted on nhtsa and carcomplaints. Com . Chrysler/jeep needs to address this problem before someone is injured or killed. |
