| Description of the problem | 2019 jeep cherokee with 2. 4l multiair engine is consuming oil at approximately 1 quart / 1,000. Without any indication the vehicle will stop while driving when the oil level is low. This last occurred while braking to make a left turn on a divided highway. No warning or indication that the level is low is forcing us to check the oil level constantly to make sure the level is not low enough to cause this condition. The vehicle has had this occur multiple times in the first 33k miles and seems to have been consuming more oil lately. |
