Description of the problem	My 16 month old jeep turns off while you are driving it. This has occurred twice in the prior two weeks. No warning lights--the car just turns off completely. I have been advised this is due to a drop in oil pressure, but the oil pressure light doesn't come on. The car has been maintained according to the guidelines within the manual which states to change the oil when the engine light comes on and that it should never go beyond 10,000 miles between oil changes. When the car was taken to the dealer for the issue we were advised that the reality is that the oil needs changed every 4,000 miles and this is a known issue and that more frequent oil changes reduces the likelihood of this occurring. My 16 year old son was driving the car the first time this occurred and the second time it was on a 45 mile an hour road. This is a known issue and yet chrysler/jeep does nothing to resolve it.
