Description of the problem	I was waiting at a red stop light in my 2019 jeep cherokee 4x4, 2. 0 l turbo, when all of a sudden my battery light on the dash illuminated. I looked at my push button start switch and it said "run". The light turned green and i stepped on the gas and nothing happened. The car was dead. Cars behind me start honking their horn. I put on my hazards and put my arms up in the air. I then moved the gear selector to "n" and pushed the start switch. The switch toggles from "run" to "off". So, i hit the button again and the car starts. I move the transmission into "d", but the car just revs like it is still in neutral. I move selector to park and then back to "d". Then the car then allows me to take off. However, i was stuck in traffic for a whole light cycle and had many people wondering what i was doing. I have no idea why the car stopped working. My car has about 13,500 miles on it.
