Description of the problem	2019 jeep cherokee latitude 2. 4 liter 4cyl engine shuts off while driving. It has stalled once and shut off twice. August 31, 2018 the engine shut off for the first time while driving. I reported it to the dealer. November 2018 - jeep issues a recall - jeep cherokee vehicles equipped with 2. 4l engines. Improper transmission calibration may result in a stall. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will re-flash the transmission controller with a new calibration, free of charge. The recall began november 2, 2018. The dealer fixed this last november 2018. Yesterday the jeep stalled and today march 21, 2019 the engine shut off while driving. I drove it directly to the dealer today. I was rattled. Each time this has happen i have been fortunate driving slow and in residential or remote areas. Others have not. There are hundreds of complaints online. This is a serious safety issue.
