Description of the problem	Check engine light came on at 18001 - vehicle was in park and just started so i can drive it - had been sitting for over a day so engine was cold. Display in center of panel read "service shifter". The next day the message and check engine light were gone. Took to dealership since still under warranty and they said it needs a new wiring harness and new shifter. Been advised by dealership and internet research that this is a common problem and wanted to add my jeep to the list to assist in getting this item recalled before someone gets seriously injured.
