Description of the problem	The service shifter light comes on all the time. It lights up all the lights on my shifter and freezes my dashboard screen to just show the message service shifter. It stays like this until i turn my vehicle off and then when i wait a bit and turn it on again it will be off but if i don't wait long enough it will still be on. It will come on no matter what speed i am going. I can be going at highway speeds or stopped in traffic. I had it come on yesterday as soon as i started my car before i even put it in gear. It can happen multiple times in one day or not happen for a week. I am concerned that when i am driving on the highway this could lead to a major mechanical breakdown and cause an accident.
