Description of the problem	I was taking my car out of park when i noticed a really loud clicking noise coming from the shifter. I took it back to the dealership and i was told that the shifter would be replaced. When i picked my truck up the noise was even louder, and this time i had an error message on my dash board that read "service shifter". At that time the dealership had already replaced the shifter. After they ran more test and attempted to fix it a total of 10 times, i am still having the same issue, where the error message says "service shifter" and the clicking sound is very loud. After speaking with the service manager at the dealership, he informed me that the shifter was just recently replaced once again and that the other attempts to replace the shifter were a result of the replacement shifters being "bad' (defected). Chrysler customer service has been notified of every occasion that my vehicle has been serviced for this issue, and they have even escalated this matter to their corporate level technicians known as "star". I was told by customer service that star was unsure of the issue upon them being contacted in reference to this issue. I have yet to see an active recall on this part, but out of the year and 8 months that i have owned this truck, i have spent approximately a year and 4 months taking it to the dealership to be serviced for the shifter.
