Description of the problem	2017 jeep cherokee limited - 36,600 miles. Started my car, put it in reverse and the shifter servicer message appeared on my dash and all of the lights where my shifter is located turned red. Turned the car off, restarted it and the message was gone and lights were off. Exactly the same thing happened yesterday after another 50 miles. Turned the car off, restarted, same results. It scares me. I googled service shifter jeep and suddenly there were tons of complaints for multiple model years for the same thing. Is this car safe?
