| Description of the problem | Car revs up like it shifted into neutral while traveling 65 mph, loss of power, no acceleration. I was on highway and was able to make the shoulder safely. Several error messages popped up on the screen, place into park and restart, etc.. Did not catch them all. Put into park, shut off and restarted. Regained power but the car stutters and shakes at about 25 mph, seems like it is missing out while idling. This has occurred several times the past month. At first turning the car off and restart would run fine for several days. Until yesterday, now it is stuttering while driving on local streets. The service four wheel drive is on. The service engine light comes while driving but does not stay on once put into park. |
