| Description of the problem | The shifter went out with less than 150 miles on the vehicle. The shifter was replaced, but the new shifter doesn't stay in gear and often shifts very hard. When the shifter went out originally we were pulling out of a parking lot and the car died in oncoming traffic, i was able to pull over turn off the car and start it to get it home. The car would not drive after we got it home and tried to take it to the dealership. They put in a new sensor but still having issues. We took it in and they did a program upgrade or something like that and gave it back. It hasn't fixed the problem. |
