Description of the problem	I was driving our 2017 jeep cherokee with my family in the vehicle, including wife and 2 children (5 plus infant). We were traveling ~20 miles per hour when the car shut down. The car was still moving as we were traveling downhill, and was in the drive gear. We were unable to stop as there was no way to pull off immediately. The gas pedal stopped working first, then the brake stopped working as well. I had to engage the emergency brake and jam my foot on the brake to slow the vehicle down. The situation was extremely dangerous. Once the car stopped, we turned it off and turned it back on again. After power cycling the car, it returned to operating as expected.
