Description of the problemWhen driving in the mountains of west virginian having the cruise control set to 70 everything works fine until you come to a steep down hill grade. Suddenly i would look down and i would be doing 90 miles a hour and the engine rpm is over 5000. This happened 4 times. 3 times i would just touch the brake and the engine rpm would immediately go down to around 2000 rpm. One time i hade to stand on the brakes for several seconds until the rpm would go down. I almost lost control of the car one time. My son drove through the mountains on our way to the east coast and i drove through them on the way home. He told me the same thing happened to him several times. I have had the car for just over 2 years and the cruise control works fine. The only time i have problems is in the mountains on a down hill road.
