Description of the problem	I bought my 2016 jeep cherokee latitude from a carmax about 7 months ago with about 30k miles on it. A few months later, my service shifter light came on when i turned my car on. I started driving and nothing was happening, but the light remained on. I pulled over to the side of the road soon after and after turning off and on the car a few times it disappeared. In the past month or two i have had this light come on many times. After looking online, it seems like this is a reoccurring issue with jeep cherokees from 2016-2017 and the problem persists months after it has been serviced. I am going to be taking my jeep in to be serviced because of this warning and will monitor closely if/when the warning reappears.
