Description of the problem	About 13 months after i first purchased the vehicle, the service shifter warning appeared. I called the dealership i purchased the vehicle from and they instructed me to turn the car off and back on to see if the problem went away. If so, not to worry. The warning appeared again another few thousand miles later and continues to pop up randomly every few thousand miles. The dealership said that it may be a glitch that a software update would fix, but hasn't been fixed with updates so far. I just rolled over 36,000 miles so the vehicle is no longer under warranty and i had the same warning appeared today. I'm concerned that now the issue will require a major hardware replacement that they will recommend now that the vehicle is under warranty. One of many issues with this jeep. My first and last time buying a jeep.
