Description of the problem	I brought my vehicle to the dealership back in november and they diagnosed it as the power transfer unit failure. There was a recall but they said my vin did not fall under it. I had them order the part and they keep giving me new eta's on the part. As of today they have informed me that there is such a demand for this part they have given me a new eta of february 4th 2021. The dealer acknowledges that this is a known issue so why isn't my vehicle covered. Now i will need to rent a car for at least a month and a half if there eta is correct which it hasn't been the last 5 times. I believe this should be a recall as they can't make this part fast enough for the demand. I previously put this claim in but have not gotten any response. I believe this is a major issue possibly not being reported by customers who do not have to absorb the cost.
