Description of the problem	My 2016 jeep cherokee all red lights next to the shifter come on and a message appears on the dash says service shifter, the car drops out of drive gear into neutral. I sometimes can reset it by shutting the car off and restarting but that does not always work and the car then has to be removed from the road. This has caused me to be put in some very dangerous situations as you can imagine. What is more dangerous than being on the highway and losing all forward motion.
