| Description of the problem | "service shifter" message with solid red lights on shifter panel (p-r-d, etc.). When vehicle is shut off and restarted message disappears. This situation occurs randomly and has happened roughly 10 times in last six months. This occurs while the vehicle is in motion at non highway speeds. Dealer could not find a problem. It continues to happen randomly. Seems to be a common issue with jeep and should be a recall. |
