| Description of the problem | In may 2019, all gaer lights on the shifter p r n d l + - all turned red and the screen had a message "service shifter." it is not possible to see the speedometer when this happens. It has been happening more frequently. It is a hazard, especially when driving down the highway and the bells ring, your speedometer screen diasappears and service shifter appears. I brought this to the attention of a jeep dealer and was told, you can still drive when that occurs. This is a dangerous situation. It needs to be investigated by someone with authority soon. When looking online i discovered lots of people are having the same issue. |
