| Description of the problem | We purchased a 2016 jeep cherokee and with 20k miles on it, we had a service shifter issue. Brought it to the dealership and got it replaced under warranty. Since then we now have a second service shifter issue. Again we brought it in, as we were previously told we had a two year warranty on the part itself. Now they want to replace the shifter bezel and wiring harness. Searching online in forums my wife and i are apart of 100s of owners of jeep vehicles from 2016 through 2017 that have shifter problems. Lastly, we were told that it was not covered by our powertrain warranty by chrysler. I feel this is a safety concern for all drivers of these vehicles and should be a recall to get it fixed. Thank you |
