Description of the problem	The service shifter message displays on the screen and you can't tell if the the is in dprn becuase all the lights are red. The car sometimes will not shift out of gear. Or jerks when it finally does. This care hesitates while in motion and as well as when stationary and trying to move. This is very dangerous. I have taken this vehicle to the dealer who stated that the recall they had was only for a software update with the shifter but this issue should also be a recall with them covering the repairs. I have less than 50k miles there is no reason why i should have to cover the expense of replacing the shifter assembly becuase the shifter is not covered under the warranty they sell you.
