Description of the problem	Two issues (may be related) first safety issue is when driving in higher gears and gas is not maintained the transmission cuts off and it can only idle with rpms able to go as high as 2000 rpms without being able to gain speed. The second issue is that when using cruise control the vehicle will increase speed without adjusting when going down a grade to speeds well over cruising speed. Both issues happen while driving on highway.
