| Description of the problem | Driving 65-75 mph on highway in high traffic, service transmission message came on engine light came on and we had absolutely no acceleration no use of speedometer, cruse, couldn't check gauges. Were able to pull off the highway. Let vehicle sit and restart. Engine light still on called the jeep 800 number i had in the vehicle and was disconnected twice with no return call. This vehicle has under 15,000 miles on it. Now less than a week later the same thing happened. This time i took it to an auto parts store to have them check the code. Which came up as: p0887 tcm power relay control circuit high definition for code: indicates that the tcm power relay control electrical circuit signal had high voltage for predetermined period of time. |
