Description of the problem	While we were driving, a message came on the dashboard to service transmission, and then we were not able to accelerate. We pulled over and turned off the car, and then started it back up and we drove fine for about a minute before the same message came up on the dashboard. Again we were not able to accelerate even though the gas pedal was pushed all the way. It wasn't making any noise. We called the dealership and all i was told was to turn it off for about 5 minutes and turn it back on to see if the service light would reset. If not to call a tow truck to take it to the nearest dealership, but since it was sunday they were all closed. All my family was with me in the car which was very frightening. I followed the dealerships instructions but it did not work. We stop at a stoplight and it didn't want to move forward once the light turned green. We turned off the car and turned it back on and it went again. We were about 45 minutes away from home so we just headed back. The service message never went away and were only able to travel at low speed. I have called fca in the past when a service transmission message popped up on the dashboard but it just flashed and didn't stay. This is a new car and i am very upset it has all these issues.
