Description of the problem	The bezel around the shifter (the part with the lights specifically) started shorting and giving an error to service the shifter. Sometimes it will go away if the car is turned off and back on again. There are also times where, when shifting, the car refuses to shift into any gear and stays in park. My fear is that one day it will be shifted into reverse, i will reverse and then no longer be able to shift into any other gear, thus stranding me in reverse.
