| Description of the problem | The service shifter alert comes on every time i start the car almost. It started perhaps a month ago or so. It was intermittent at first and restarting the vehicle would clear it often but has gotten worse overtime. It now occurs every time i start the vehicle. I worry that it may go out and the polar is very generic. That's called a couple of mechanics including dealer and they're equally generic about what it may be, and just to get it looked at will cost me $120 an hour. The only thing that was there within my power to troubleshoot was to make sure firmware was up-to-date and i have done that but the alert is still there. |
