| Description of the problem | While driving on the freeway at 65mph, the car gave me a "transmission service" alarm and then the car lost power and eventually stopped. No response to acceleration and eventually to steering control. I turned off the engine and waited approximately 3 minutes, turned the key and then the car started and was able to drive it with no issues. It was a dangerous situation that could have ended with catastrophic consequences. The car was bought from overseas military sales in sicily, italy and the incident occurred in sicily. |
