Description of the problem	While either slowing to a stop or accelerating from a stop, the vehicle "jerks", or "lunges". Though i apply the pedals smoothly (gradually), the car moves as if i were pumping the brake at ~1 second intervals. Because the car is in drive and my foot is not on the brake, this causes drivers behind me to get awfully close (as my brake lights do not signal that i am stopping). This happens chronically (>1x /week).
