| Description of the problem | After a recall for the transmission (s55), the service shifter warning came on the same day i had the recall repaired. The jeep dealership said it is an unrelated issue to the recall. Upon research, i read others are dealing with the same issue. I was driving when the warning came on and it happens every day after driving for awhile. It's not specific to city street or highway, just at any time, any speed, and in motion. I do not know the danger of what could happen if this isn't repaired, but i've only had my vehicle for two years. This is only the second recall i've ever had and have never had any issues with it since i have owned it. |
