| Description of the problem | Emergency parking brake (epb) locks up. Can not release. Jeep tsb mentions water infiltration around epb module by spare tire causes this issue. This could have happened when driving (it did not). Cant release brake. Cant move car. Brake is electric and releases upon gear shift movement tsb reported that connector and module gets corroded from water that enters from a bad seal. The shorted out module / connector could have cause brake lockup at high mph |
