| Description of the problem | We bought the car used about 3 years ago. Periodically it stalls and will not go forward. It has happened in the middle of intersections. I have taken it to the local dealer and they don't show anything wrong with it. It happens randomly so you can really show the technician what it is doing but nothing shows up when they run the diagnostics. This is a known problem for the 2014 jeep cherokee. I have seen complaints from 2015 forward. When it stops in the middle of the road we have to find a place to stop and turn it off. Usually it will correct itself when it is restarted. Clearly this is very dangerous. I don't know if jeep can't fix the problem or won't fix the problem. This has happened about 10 times in the last 3 years. |
