Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep cherokee. The contact stated that the transmission failed. The vehicle was taken to auto plaza chrysler, dodge, jeep ram (12830 mo 21 highway desoto, mo 63020, 636-337-7777) to be repaired per nhtsa campaign number: 19v447000 (power train) and nhtsa campaign number: 16v529000 (power train). The repairs did not correct the failure. While driving various speeds, the vehicle shifted hard, jerked, and hesitated to shift into gear. When the engine was started, the vehicle entered into limp mode and the service transmission, service parking brake, and check engine warning indicators illumiated. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer numerous times for the failures. The dealer updated the engine and transmission modules and software several times; however, the failure was not corrected. The manufacturer was contacted. The failure mileage was 85,000.
