Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep cherokee. Loss of automotive power the vehicle stalled faulty transmission control module sensor the contact stated that while driving the vehicle and pressing the accelerator pedal the vehicle would not immediately accelerate before suddenly accelerating very fast. The "check engine" warning light would remain illuminated and the message "service transmission" was present. On occasions the transmission would not shift into reverse and would not properly shift gears while driving and the vehicle had stalled while driving on multiple occasions. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer lee jeep/chrysler(777 center st. Auburn maine) who diagnosed that the transmission control module sensor was faulty. The transmission control module sensor had been reprogrammed and replaced on several occasions but the failures continued to occur. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 8,000.
