Description of the problem	My problem started about a week ago when i went to put my car into reverse from park after having just started it and it drove forward instead of backwards. I had to put it back into park then back into reverse before it would go backwards (no i was not on a hill i was flat, the car was acting as though it was in drive instead of reverse). Then it progressed to i went to change from park to drive and the engine just reved when the gas was pressed (acting as though it was in neutral) and i yet again had to put it back into park and turn it off to get it to go into the right gear. Then it progressed to my battery not working properly and my car not wanting to start up right away. And it got even worse to the point my car now says i need service on the shifter. I have had this car for 9 months and i drive it 10 miles a day (to and from work combined) 5 days a week and hardly ever anymore than that. I had never had any problems with it before this week and now all these problems are popping up at once
