Description of the problem	Near death experience too many times. Have reported this to the dealerships and to jeep headquarters. It is a known issue with jeep and they fail to do anything about it. If you try to accelerate from a incomplete stop (such as slowing down on a ramp and then speeding up) the car does not shift into gear and you are left sitting in the middle of dangerous traffic. Eventually it will shift and buck and throw the car into high speed as the transmission tries to catch up to the fuel that was dumped into the engine as a result of the car not changing gears and going forward when the gas was first applied. Have narrowly avoided being blind sided in intersections almost daily!!! So sick of jeep not fixing it, and knowing about the issue for years and years and years. It is a death machine just waiting for the next kill. You can see all the complaints on this year (2014) and (2015) with this car. I have had into the shop repeatedly since purchasing this vehicle new and still no resolution from jeep. They don't care if you die in the car, even though they know the car will not shift into gear when trying to accelerate from a stop or a slow roll. This report wants to know when this happened. It happens every single day since the day we bought the car. I would have reported it daily if i had known this form existed before today.
