Description of the problem	While driving down the highway the vehicle lost power, the messages "service parking break" and "service transmission" appeared in the dash, the check engine light came on, and the emergency break light blinked on and then off. The car did not respond to pressing on the gas pedal, fortunately i was able glide off the highway and into a parking lot. I turned off the car, when i restarted it the message "service transmission" appeared along with the check engine light. I was able to put the car into gear and drive but the power was greatly reduced and it stayed in a lower gear.
