Description of the problem	2. 3l v6 powered jeep with 9 speed automatic transmission has had improper shifting problems since late december 2017, up to and including vehicle engine shutdown with "service transmission" notification on evic. Vehicle stalled in traffic at busy intersection. Engine restart locked transmission in "limp" mode and allowed vehicle to be driven approximately 6 miles to home. Transmission tcm has been re-flashed three times in the past 30 days with problems recurring within 100-200 miles. Vehicle engine shutoff stalls occurring in city street and highways. Vehicle still does shift properly.
