Description of the problem	While driving on a city street at approximately 45 mph. The vehicle shifted out of gear, lunges and goes again in a jerking/ hesitating manner. Check engine light came on and service transmission light came on. Pulled over put in park and re selected a gear. When doing so it makes a horrific grinding noise and has no power. The battery has been replaced twice since 2014 for a "bad battery" after both of these replacements within 4 months we have now experienced these transmission problems. I stress this is the second time with the transmission issue and also the second time for the battery replacement.
