Description of the problem	I bought a brand new cherokee trailhawk and within the first 8 months the transmission needed to be totally replaced after having significant issues with switching gear. In december 2016 i was driving to nc, with 55,800 miles on the vehicle, the power steering suddenly shut out and i wasn't able to accelerate, all while going 70mph on a major highway. I had to coast to the side of the road. I had to have it towed to the dealership, where they performed a "software upgrade" and gave it back to me. The next morning, the exact same incident occurred on my way to work, in rush hour, at a very high speed. I again had to coast to the shoulder to pull off. The dealership still hasn't returned it, over a week later, because they don't actually know how to fix it. I will never again buy a jeep, and if i ever see my cherokee again i will not feel safe driving it.
