| Description of the problem | When accelerating from a stop or low speeds, the transmission regularly takes several seconds to shift. Once it does decide to shift it's often abruptly, usually causing the tires to spin. On numerous occasions this has been when trying to enter traffic, potentially leaving the vehicle stranded while entering. Dealership's solution is a transmission software update/reset which generally works for a few thousand miles and then the issue returns. |
